Primary Purpose & Qualifications
The Site Coordinator is responsible for integrating academic student support during non-school hours with the school day academic program. The position requires knowledge of state academic standards and the 21st Century Community Learning Center academic goals and objectives. Applicants must have a valid teaching certificate and work within the Berryville School District.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be present and on-site during program hours
- Hire, oversee activities, and supervise staff
- Facilitates the development of the daily program schedule and curriculum
- Ensures program includes activities that contribute to the academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical well-being and growth of the students
- Ensures the program activities align to the goals and objectives in the awarded grant and the state curriculum standards
- Facilitates staff meetings to review progress towards program goals, debrief activities, communicate expectations, and review program evaluations
- Communicate with school staff and administration to provide program and student updates
- Coordinates on-going family engagement workshops, services, and special events
