POSITION TITLE:         Middle School Paraprofessional

 

 

REPORTS TO:      Principal and/or other Supervisor

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   185 day contract

 

Requirements: 

• Must have passed the Praxis Paraprofessional assessment
• This position includes teaching two Tier 3 Math classes, one enrichment class, and three Study Skills classes.

                            

JOB FUNCTIONS:   

1. Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations.
2. Attend meetings and performs duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors.
3. Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
4. Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.
5. Serve duties as assigned.
